I can't wait for Sunday night now. I love the radio show that I host with my roomie and some of our friends. Every Sunday from 9 til midnight we're in control of the air waves of campus radio. 88.5 WIPZ. I love it. We always have fun whether we're in a heated discussion or having a light hearted random question. I admit to hurting some people's feelings but we're buds and they have to deal with it, lol. No hard feelings, I usually challenge everything someone says just for conversation. I hate dead air. There are the few people who just like to hear their own voice in the headphones but the more they talk the less dead air I hear... Whatever works. We play songs at random... everything from R&B to the occasional random alternative rock... I admit it... I have interesting tastes... I'll listen to almost anything except country... for whatever reason I just can't get into it... there are exceptions to that exception but... I won't go into details.
People come and visit us at the station or call in if they want to call in and tell us they disagree with our topic, or just to ask us questions. Eventually we'll be able to broadcast over the Internet but the tech guys who help us have to fix everything else that's wrong with the station first. We have a lot of issues... from broken equipment to bad wiring. I heart the tech guys... you're awesome! So if you want to stop by the station one night we're there, and we also have a show on Wednesdays too, from 6 to 7pm, Random is as Random Does. I personally cannot go to Wednesday night shows because I have night class... next semester it's on... no night classes for me! But My roomie is there, doin' her thing pushin' all the buttons...lol. We have good times... many pictures...
