Whats going on @ WIPZ

So on Thursday March 13, from 9pm-2am, WIPZ hosted a local artist concert/party. Me and my co host Jasmine were the Event coordinators and it was absolutly crazy! It was a big success we had Off The Block Ent., Ball Star, Fly Boys, Music Amor and WIPZ's own DJ Breezy J. It was crazy! There was dancing from 9-10:30 and 12:30 to 2, and the concer was in the middle. It was a big turn out everyone had a lot of fun. Even me and Jas had fun... in between her watching the money counter and me getting all of the lost Local artists to the building and all together, which is harder than it sounds for whatever reason... but it worked out fine, we had some issues with our music playlist... which was all set up on my computer... which has a busted headphone jack... I found that out at the set up... which I never thought was an issue because it works fine in my room... but whatever... we fixed it and the party was a success, what more could I ask for right?

The metal tour was also an event that just passed... it was on March 29th and was truely Murder Metal @ Parkside featuring Macabre, Monstrosity, Cyanosis, Withering Soul and a surprise group as well. It was a big success as well congrats to Andy S. the andichrist!

Elections are coming up and so is Jess the Ska kid's concert! Saturday April 12th is the Ska Spectacular tickets will be $6 for students and $8 for general public come support the WIPZ crew!

So I've been busy!

I'm sorry I've been neglecting you guys! And even worse! I don't know where to start. So.... I'll just rattle about class until it comes out... Classes, they're okay this semester. My schedule sucks as usual.... My teachers are okay, I don't hate anyone yet. I love one professor but hate his specialty, Philosophy isn't my thing. I'd rather argue about something that I can actually answer one day, Philosophy more times than not argue about things that you can only imagine. Like does God exist, or if you take a person and put them in a box with no contact with other people, they never see light, or anything, can they think? or do they just sit there? and you bring up all these points and they get shut down and no one goes anywhere in the debate... I can't stand that... but I really like his class. He's a good professor, his name is Prof. Zaibert... cool, quirky, and from Venezuela I think... Nice guy... Look into his classes when you get here... Outside of that class I don't really know, my study abroad class is not very appealing... I don't know why... I just might have went in knowing too much about it I guess... I'm slacking off on my FAFSA which is really bad... I can't finish it until I do my taxes and I'm locked out for whatever reason... but I'm still trying at it, I haven't finished my application for Study Abroad because I've been busy with class and life... working is no joke on top of a full load of classes... and a few orgs too... I just don't really want to go anymore... but I do want to... I don't understand it either... I think I'm just a chicken... I'm scared about leaving... I'll get over it. A lot of orgs on campus are on the chopping block. There are so many orgs getting booted off campus... that I'm afraid for my little Arts driven org BPG. If they're chopping big status orgs what's going to happen to us? I know it has a lot to do with grades and budget cuts but thats whats been going on... Spring Break is right around the corner and I'll be bored... but thats a given... I'll be busy though...

I'm BACK!!!!

So I'm back at school, and its already hectic. For starters... my schedule is CRAZY!! Wednesday's are "Hell" days, classes start at 9 am and end at 8:45pm... I've got to work in between classes (Where I am this very second)... and My radio show starts at 9pm... talk about psycho! I can only eat once... from 2-3 and that's if and only if the person who works after me comes in on time... and that's just one day... I've got two night classes and 17 credits total... talk about doing too much! I work over 10 hours a week, and I'm in several ORG's and I have to find time to sleep and skate...oh yeah... and eat.

BUT on the plus side... My 21st birthday just passed! I turned 21 on the first day of school... so no partying for me! but I did have fun and got my first drink at a local bar and grill in Kenosha... nothing too strong... because I had class at 9 the next morning but enough to let me know that I am now old enough to get a drink.

Today is the ORG Fair... as if Wednesday isn't hectic enough already! I had to wake up extra early to set up the table for BPG and help as much as I could (which wasn't much) with WIPZ's table too.... We (me and my roomie Jas, who is also the BPG VP...lol) pulled a late night 'finish all the little details that we couldn't get to' last night. We went to sleep around 5 am... woke up around 8 am... not much sleep... I don't recommend staying up so late when your day looks like mine, I don't recommend staying up that late even on a weekend....lol it will catch up with you! But since the Fair is still in progress I have no pics of it yet... but they will be up soon... I'll come back and edit it or just add another entry...

thats all the news I've gotten so far... only thing left to talk about is my break... but I might leave that for another entry....

But on another whole random subject.....
